This is a great spot to enjoy outdoor recreation like golfing, kayaking, skiing, and more. With the Sierra Nevada foothills nearby, locals have direct access to camping and hunting grounds. The downtown area is lined with enchanting historic homes and towering trees and is home to delectable bistros and unique shops.

Specialty items here range from flatbreads to paninis to freshly baked scones. Carte Blanche Cafe also has an Espresso Bar serving hot and cold brews. Last Stand is an old-fashioned standup bar and grill in Willows. This casual eatery serves favorites like clam chowder in a bread bowl and tri-tip steak. Boards Galore Deli and More, located in downtown Willows, serves sandwiches made of freshly baked bread and hand-carved deli meat. This is a local area favorite for a laid-back lunch. 

There are several upscale boutiques and vintage shops in Willows. Gathering and the Marketplace is situated in the historic downtown district and provides an excellent range of delightful products for residents, from unique gifts and goods to vintage finds. The shop also hosts several flea markets throughout the year. The Vintage Nest is a charming store with antique decor and clothing.

Willows is abundant with spots for outdoor recreation. Thunder Hill Raceway Park is a massive facility with three racetracks and two skid pads. This motorsports park is street car friendly, offers turnkey rentals, and has convenient track times. Thunder Hill Raceway also features races for public viewing throughout the year. Sycamore Park is a lush public green space located in the heart of Willows. This park boasts a walking trail, tennis courts, and a skatepark. 

Each year, Willows plays host to the Lamb Derby, a beloved event that pays homage to a centuries-old race using live lambs that took place in Willows. This highly-anticipated event features a carnival, parade, children’s activities, and local vendors. 

Enjoy a round of golf at the Glenn Golf and Country Club, situated in the beautiful farmlands of Willows. This is a club with a pristine course, clubhouse, and restaurant on-site.
